concept:
The Flying Grass Carpet is an unique temporary and fun park that travels around the world. It’s designed to look like a gigantic Persian rug with the different patterns executed in different types of artificial grass. In having this artwork travel, people, globally, and from all economic backgrounds, are able to share this experience. The Carpet is a social art piece that shows how connected we all are. Its design and stories invite people to use their imagination. As this carpet has become intimate parts of cities and neighborhoods, the public has used the carpet to celebrate togetherness for day-to-day activities, as special moments.

Quotes:
How nice it would be when it actually flies. It would make the imagination, the fairy complete. Instant happiness the size of a pocket park. A temporary garden in an artificial world. Three dates later and
the carpet lies somewhere else. Stories are written, relationships evolve, and the carpet continues its journey. Ultimate urbanity on 1800 m2.
