The two main shopping areas in Zoetermeer, the Stadshart and the Dorpsstraat (respectively City hearth and village street in Dutch) are physically separated from each other by a pond.
The municipality has asked HUNK-design and MOVE Urban Architecture to compose a menu with ideas for place-making and place-testing. The main objective of the city was to have a list of testing possibilities to get an insight into how the area could become more lifely.
